News Flash
- Weight Loss is good for your sex life!
Weight loss
can improve your sex life and improve the urinary health of men
who are obese and have diabetes.
The penis
and urinary system are sensitive to changes in blood flow, inflammation,
and hormone levels which are all negatively effected by obesity
and diabetes.
“Everything
that makes your blood vessels bad is also bad for erectile function,”
says Ronald Tamler, MD, PhD, clinical director of the diabetes
center at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. “The
small arteries around the penis go down the drain first.”
Obesity and
diabetes directly inhibit the ability of the penis to become erect
and to stay that way, they also lead to low libido, infertility,
and problems with urination, including those night time trips
to the bathroom.
Past studies
have shown that significant weight loss is required to alleviate
these negative effects but Doctor Ronald Tamler has shown that
even more modest weight loss can still be of significant benefit.
So lose it or lose it..
